Oasis: Recharging in Nature
To me, an oasis is anywhere or anything that allows you to process your thoughts, ignore your thoughts, or toss them to the wind. As a college student in San Diego, the place I would most often retreat was Sunset Cliffs. Sitting along the coast between Ocean Beach and Point Loma, the jagged angles of the rocks, the roar of the ocean, and the sun on my face would wash all my stress and worries out to sea. It’s been a long time since I graduated college, but every time I visit San Diego, I still find an oasis in Sunset Cliffs. Not to mention the powerful views as the sun sets—giving it its most appropriate name. If you’re in San Diego, be sure to pay these cliffs a visit, even if it’s just for 10 minutes, to recharge.

The end of the road
While biking through San Diego, I found this great spot at the end of the road to sit and watch the sunset.
