B&B Like No Other, Come for the Food; Stay for the Fish

Large arrow left

Helping clients achieve a deeper state of calm is an important goal for Randy Eady; an award-winning therapeutic landscape designer aka the Foot Whisperer ~ standing in this naturalized pool created to bear a visual resemblance to the Cenotes of Yucatan. It contains sweet water (freshwater), has a roughly cylindrical shape, and is topped by natural limestone boulders, tropical plants overhanging the water, and a waterfalls.

The gardens feature more than five hundred species and varieties of plants, from all over the world. Some of the plants include African Oil Palm, Bay Rum, Allspice, Brazilian Jaboticaba, Guyana Chestnut trees, Miracle Fruit bushes, Korean Velvet grass, and extensive, tranquil bamboo. It's also just a few paces from anything but your typical B&B: the Sundy House’s 11 luxurious guest accommodations feature sumptuous décor and are completely secluded from the civilization just 2 blocks yonder.

Three restaurants offering soulful cuisine, embracing Mediterranean flavors and blending in the Southern roots of "Top Chef" star Lindsay Autry as well as a central-canopied, coral-floored, Roux Bamboux Lounge bar and the new Star Bar all are welcoming and overlook ponds & lovely gardens.

At the Sundy House, you can live life in a cozy bungalow, surrounded by lush tropical settings and best of all pools you can swim in with native tropical fish (and some special algae-eating imports) that, when the Foot Whisperer has his way, will nibble your feet.
