A Fresh Spin on German Cuisine
German cuisine has traditionally had a bad rap compared with other great European food traditions. Twins Thomas and Mathias Suhring, however, are doing their bit to change these perceptions at their acclaimed venue in Bangkok. The chefs aim to introduce diners to the nuances of German food beyond the cliched stereotypes of sausages and sauerkraut. While such classics do make an appearance in dishes such as a refined pork knuckle sandwich topped with Riesling sauerkraut cream, the fresh approach here will be an eye-opener to many.
