After the long drive from Baltimore to Solomon’s Island, Maryland Stony’s Restaurant was a welcome sight.
Sitting on the large wooden deck, in the warm afternoon sun, snacking on the seafood dip, with generous pieces of shrimp blanketed in a warm crab and cheese sauce, watching a blue sailboat pass leisurely by, I am thinking nothing could be better.
Then the shrimp tacos arrived. Large, lightly spiced grilled shrimp, stretched across a bed of creamy coleslaw, enveloped in a warm tortilla. All enhanced by the cold draft beer and the attentive serving staff. Stopping at Stony’s made for the perfect afternoon.
