The Mills' House
The Mills' House
The Beaux-Arts country estate of financier Ogden and Ruth Livingston Mills, renovated in 1895, emulates the "Downton Abbey lifestyle" of opulence and privilege during America's Gilded Age. Explore and admire the Mills' 79-room mansion, replete with brocaded Flemish tapestries, gilded plasterwork, period paintings and furnishings, as well as Oriental art. Knowledgeable costumed docents even offer themed tours touching on the lives (and parties) of some of America's wealthy elite. Add on a custom tea service featuring renowned tea blenders Harney & Sons Fine Teas for a unique and luxurious experience.
