Sørlandet Art Museum

Skippergata 24B, 4611 Kristiansand, Norway

The largest museum in southern Norway, Sørlandet Art Museum displays an ever-changing line-up of temporary exhibitions, plus a wide range of visual art from fine arts to crafts, with a focus on Nordic artists. The collections are housed in a former school building that dates back to 1877, which itself represents a fine example of repurposed design. Like many Norwegian museums, it’s closed on Mondays.
