Sonoma Valley Airport

Out of Sonoma.
One of the most unique ways to experience the wine country is from the open cockpit of a vintage biplane–in our case a bright red 1942 Boeing Stearman. I must have passed Sonoma Valley Airport a hundred times over the years and I always have a hard time keeping my eyes on the road while checking out all the industrial looking vintage planes parked there. So thrilled, I finally got to take a ride. A 20min flight is $175. Add another $50 for a Loop, a Barrel Roll and a Hammer Head - and if you're still "thumbs up" and smiling, here we go into the famous Cuban Eight! (Whatever that means...)
