The magic of the Pacific Ocean inspired Michael Wunderlich and Paula Saenz to bring SNUBA to Guanacaste, Costa Rica. They offer two four-hour diving tours, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both include two diving locations in the Catalina Islands and leave from the white sand beaches of Flamingo.
Wunderlich and Saenz make learning to SNUBA easy. They are Certified SNUBA guides who accompany you throughout the trip. After a quick SNUBA briefing, you jump in the water to start your adventure. While you're in the water, you simply breathe into a regulator while your air supply floats on a support raft at the surface of the ocean. Before you know it, you’ll be swimming next to the most colorful fish in the Pacific. If you're lucky, you may spot giant manta rays, tiger sharks, reef sharks, spinner dolphins, and even humpback whales, but you're most likely to spot barracudas, spiny scorpion fish, lemon-colored barberfish, king angelfish, and bright-striped Cortez angelfish.
