Snorkeling and Scuba Diving
Scuba divers should make a date to explore the crystalline waters, either inside Bora-Bora’s lagoon or just outside the reef in the Teavanui Pass which leads to open ocean. The latter is where lemon sharks, blacktip reef sharks, barracuda, tuna and giant manta rays navigate through the sapphire depths. Snorkelers can get their feet wet, so to speak, in a shallow portion of the lagoon nicknamed the Aquarium, where multicolored reef fish congregate over the vivid coral heads.
