There are four locations of Smoke House Deli in India's capital city, but the space in Hauz Khas is my personal favorite. Though known for their signature burgers (tenderloin with rosemary cheese, for example) every item on the menu is sublime. Be sure to try the Tomato + Mascarpone Risotto and Pan Seared Himalayan Trout + Wasabi Cream. There is also a lovely selection of coolers with fresh fruit, herbs, and floral infusions. The Apple Soaked Mojito with fresh apple, mint, lime, and demerara sugar is perfect during the warm Delhi evenings.
