Celebrate Nature at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Gardens
They say Victoria amazonica, or giant water lilies, are robust enough to hold up a small child without sinking into the water. But while the specimens at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolan Botanical Park are more than large enough to tempt you to test that hypothesis, it's strictly against the rules.
Instead, wander the 30+ hectares of gorgeous gardens and revel in the amazing botanical diversity. Run along the paths and trees. Find a secret spot to steal a kiss. And, of course, see if you can capture even a bit of the beauty you encounter on film. It's not as easy as it may look.
