Last Saturday on the 20th August 2016 I organized and lead a trip for a group of 6 young American nature lovers (all ladies) to the Sipi Falls in eastern Uganda. The Sipi Falls are situated on the edge of the Mountain Elgon, and comprise of three big waterfalls on the Sipi River which flows from Mt. Elgon. In the foothills of the mountain the river flows over high cliffs and creates these stunning waterfalls. A hike to visit each of the three waterfalls is a wonderful adventure that I have done a number of times and organized day tours for a number of visitors but this was the largest group so far and even though I was worried for some of the girls that they may not complete the trail, they all succeeded. The weather was superb with a clear sunny day! Two of the waterfalls provide amazing behind the waterfalls experiences and have featured the Sipi Falls among the 9 amazing photos from behind waterfalls - http://www.oddee.com/item_99746.aspx
The biggest waterfall at 100m provides an amazing rappelling adventure!
