We left the main island of Sipalay, Negros Occidental in the Philippines around mid-morning. With no firm itinerary we just instructed the boat man to bring us to islands during the 3-hour period. He brought us to just one: a private island called Anajaua. Visitors are allowed to stay and donation of any amount is encouraged. The stunning island already made our day as we camped on the island's beach together with a couple from Australia and a group from Korea. On our way back to the main island, we briefly stopped at a ship wreck 7 meters deep.
Sipalay can be reached either from Dumaguete City or Bacolod City via a 4-hour road trip.
