We chose the bog trail because it was short (.8 km) and stroller friendly, as the entire trail is a looping boardwalk. The bog offered a different view of the Pacific Rim National Park, and while it’s not a picturesque rain forest, the walk still winds through beautiful terrain with interesting species twisting out of the uniquely acidic soil. My kids loved it even though it started hailing right in the middle of the walk.
