RVA Street Art
In an attempt to bring a little color and interest to the attention-starved night club district in Richmond and the river front, numerous local and National artists were commissioned to create giant street art murals on many of the buildings and the flood wall. The murals are part of a street art festival, and will remain up for two years, and then the spaces will be recommissioned by a new round of artists. To see the murals, take a walk around the Shockoe Bottom neighborhood, or on the scenic Canal Walk, which winds along the James River.
