Shelter Cove is the largest marina in H.H.I., and you will find some extravagant yachts and sailboats here. It's a nice area to walk, shop, or dine along the marina.
You can't miss it; it is marked by Neptune and his trident—which create one of the largest sundials I have ever seen. While it can by quiet during the day, stop by at night when restaurants buzz with festivity.

Scott's and Harry's: A Dynamic Duo
Often you'll find restaurants near the sea that don't serve local seafood. Luckily enough, Scott's is not one of those.
Scott's Fish Market is a casual and local eatery that allows one to sit indoors or conveniently next to the outdoor bar (the largest outdoor seating in H.H.I.) called Hurricane Harry's right on the marina in Shelter Cove.
Try the seafood gumbo or one of the many fried seafood dishes. It's tough to be disappointed at Scott's.
Tip: Scott's is only open for dinner (4:30 to 10 p.m.).
If you're tired of seafood and looking for a restaurant away from the bar scene, head to this spot near Scott's Fish Market in Shelter Cove.
Bistro 17 is a quaint, European-style restaurant and cafe that overlooks the marina. It features an extensive wine list but doesn't have a stuffy atmosphere that might suffocate the casual vacationer.
If you're in H.H.I. over the summer, you can watch the fireworks from the outdoor patio.
Tip: Bistro 17's outdoor patio is pet-friendly.
