According to a story, two Italians were stranded on the high seas. In the midst of the storm, they vowed to open a restaurant serving the best pizzas and pastas if they survived. They did, and opened Serafina in New York City in 1995. The restaurant came to São Paulo in 2010 (with a location on Alameda Lorena in Jardins) and recently opened a location in Itaim Bibi. This location, designed by the trio Triplex, features modern art and a modern, yet rustic feel. A wonderful lunch or dinner spot.
