Perched on the side of the Riding Mountains, the Selo's amphitheatre provides grand views of the prairie stretching out beyond the stage, upon which dancers twirl and jump in colourful choreography.
Canada's National Ukrainian Festival is likely a better time if you're Ukrainian, but I've seen Saudi Arabian exchange students enjoy themselves more than anyone. There are 2 grandstand shows per day, along with other shows interspersed on other stages. Mix that in with visits to the "Cossack Camp" where you can tear some meat off a spit, and dress up as a warrior as well and you've got a day of fun.
Finally cap it off with the big "zabava" party at night that features rollicking fiddles and perogy chasers. With some vodka-infused courage, you might even learn how to polka!
