A stop at this store could easily turn into an all day event. Owned and run by members of the Mennonite community, its choc-full of fresh baked goods, homemade fudges and nut butters, dried fruits and vegetables, spices and extracts, too many kinds of ground flours to name and a variety local cheeses. Its candy section alone would be worth a cross-country trek.
But the really, truly fun part of visiting here is roaming the collection of handcrafted playhouses, barns and porch swings that make a small village just outside the store. After you purchase your bag of Lemon Drops or a Sassafrass candy lick-stick, cop a squat in your fantasy tree house and flashback to your childhood.
