I felt a fleeting sense of relief we had made it through the trackless rollercoaster ride, at least this far. I looked back at our vehicle in the distance. If I squinted, it looked like a tiny ant in the sand. After several more stomach dropping maneuvers and a small picnic in a valley among the dunes, we made our way back to Walvis Bay. A ride with Sandwich Harbour 4x4 is the best way to experience the Namib Desert.
