Hiking around Mt. Tamalpais is the best thing of all times, ever. That, pretty much, everyone agrees on. But this weekend, I found a way to make it better.
Start at the Pantoll Ranger Station and take the Matt Davis trail. This will be a nice mix of redwoods and ocean views. 4.5 miles later, you will arrive at Stinson Beach. There, stop at the Sand Dollar Restaurant to have a break. I recommend the oysters (*fresh from Point Reyes*) because really, when else do you get oysters on a hike? To get back, take the Dipsea Trail to the Steep Ravine trail. This will return you to your car, sweat, fulfilled and exhausted.
