This Japanese-style izakaya offers quality pub grub with a full range of alcoholic beverages–the Japanese owner is something of a sake sommelier. The okara tofu is absolutely incredible, silky soft and savory, and is a must-order. There's plenty of fish, both of the raw and grilled variety, as well as classic izakaya dishes. Expect to linger while plates are slowly brought to the table. The ethos here is on slow food—and it is bad form to hurry the wait staff.
