St. Petersburg Museum of History
The St. Petersburg Museum of History brings to life more than 90 years of local lore from the Tampa Bay area. Sports fans in town to see their baseball team at spring training will be especially intrigued by Schrader's Little Cooperstown, the world’s largest collection of autographed baseballs (as verified by Guinness World Records). The museum also features a full-size working replica of the Benoist Airboat, which launched the world’s first commercial airline with regularly scheduled flights when it took off in 1914, carrying passengers across Tampa Bay.
