Sagardi is another Basque restaurant...they're actually a chain which also operates Orio. Much like Orio, Sagardi serves up pintxos...those delicious little tapas served on a piece of baguette and speared with a toothpick.
While Oriol's location near Santa Caterina is more modern, Sagardi's location on Carrer Argenteri is more classic. Lots of wood. Bar tables and stools. Busy atmosphere. Lots of locals.
Like Orio, this restaurant is consistent in their quality. You'll appreciate their fresh food and the restaurant's lively atmosphere.
Also, their Argenteria location is just a short walk to the memorial plaza and a sculpture commemorating the sacrifice of Catalán rebels who fought against enemy forces in the early 1700's
