Roman bath in the village of Bansko
The east end of the village of Bansko, the place where the spring of thermo-mineral water is, is know by the name "Bath" among the local population, and it used to be a thermal healing spa from late antiquity. The archeological excavations on the late-Roman thermal spa have begun in the 70s and continue with short interruptions, till today. With the last campaign well preserved late – Roman thermal spa was discovered. The excavations have revealed 10 well preserved quarters.
