Nestled along the beautiful Great Allegheny Passage trail in Confluence Pa., sits the wonderfully quiet River's Edge Cafe and B&B. Actually, 'Cafe' is a bit of a misnomer, as they offer a rather extensive and abundantly delicious lunch and dinner menu, as well as full bar service. The Cafe is situated in a wonderfully preserved 1890's home, adjoined to the 1930's B&B. Both are truly authentic and offer a perfect way to take in the beauty of the Laurel Highland mountains and Youghiogheny River.
You'd be remissed to not spend at least one night here. Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob are nearby as is beautiful Ohiopyle State Park. We try to never let a summer slip by without spending at least one weekend here.
