Eating one of Richard Haward's oysters whole is like experiencing the flavors of the entire ocean explode into your mouth. He said this to me as I struggled to eat the XL oyster, my very first oyster, in multiple bites. I soon learned that it was much easier to buy multiple small oysters and slurp each one down whole.
