After some investigation about cities and places to visit in Morocco, we determined that Meknes was a must stop. There aren't as many accomodations. The medina is smaller than other cities (Fes, Tangier, Marrakesh). But it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the end, the comparative lack of tourists and the smaller medina make it an ideal place to get lost.
From rooftop of the Riad El Ma, you have a great view of the Grand Mosque and the day coming to a close over the quaint and explorable medina. The call to prayer came shortly after this shot as did a small migration of cranes slowly making their way across the cityscape to the south west.
