Going Retro with my favorite Nashville food truck
Food trucks are all the rage in cities like Austin, Portland, Los Angeles... and, more recently, Nashville! Music City is becoming known for its food scene around the nation, and now that scene is on the move! What are snoballs, exactly? These decadent frozen treats originated in New Orleans and are made of ice shaved so finely that it is comparable to fresh powder on your favorite ski slope. This truck's ice machine was special ordered from "The Big Easy" for authenticity assurance. One of the founders of Retro Sno was even born and raised in Louisiana! Needless to say, they know what they are doing...and what they are doing is good. In the heat & humidity that is characteristic of Nashville, Retro Sno provides a delicious reprieve from the elements. With flavors like Creamy Chai Latte, Vanilla Toasted Coconut, Raspberry Wedding Cake, and Sweet Tea & Lemon (a shout out to their Southern roots), this unique food truck is sure to please! If you are ever in Music City, be sure to look up where Retro Sno is located for the day. I would say that finding the truck is half the fun...but that would not leave enough "fun" to describe the experience of eating a snoball and meeting the enthusiastic, passionate, friendly purveyors of this mobile happiness-giver. Never has there been a better time to go RETRO!
