Upon arrival on Šolta island from the ferry, the tiny village of Rogač seems to be genuinely empty of any form of life. However, if you pass the harbour and walk down the road for only a couple of minutes, you will find a heaven of peace that lies just around the corner.
Located directly on the waterfront, Restoran Pasarela has it all : from the exotic look of its palmtree roofing to the delicious sound of the waves lapping against the uneven rocks of this mysterious Dalmatian island, including the idyllic view upon the crystal clear water of the Adriatic Sea.
Not to mention the food, which is as tasty as the setting in which it is served is gorgeous. Pizzas are way above average, the risottos are cooked to perfection and the swordfish carpaccio is simply to-die-for.
If you are lucky enough, you may even have the opportunity to listen to traditional croatian songs from a local group of friends which repertory is close to endless.
