Red Star Line Museum
The Red Star Line was a passenger ship company founded in 1871, later incorporated into Holland America, that brought millions of European immigrants from the port in Antwerp to the United States, most of them through Ellis Island in New York City. The museum buildings themselves are protected monuments, and inside they feature exhibits about the ships and tell the stories of many immigrant families who went looking for a new life in America.
