Subtle Eastern Style
Ditch those generic qipaos for stylish threads you'd actually wear out. German fashion designer Kathrin von Rechenberg combines Eastern aesthetics with Western tailoring—and the results are effortlessly fashionable garments. Her signature product is tea silk, which is an increasingly rare fabric produced only in Guangdong. Rechenberg also has a line of gauzy dresses vaguely reminiscent of those silk robes worn during the Han dynasty.
