Blending Your Own Wine in Sonoma Valley

Finding your own tastes, be it culinary or of the liquid variety, is always a fun experience, and Ravenswood Winery in Sonoma Valley makes it easy for you to realize your dream. The largest producer of Zinfandel in the world (the vineyard produces some 2 million cases each year), Ravenswood was started by visionary Joel Peterson who wanted to produce a strong wine -- hence the motto, “no wimpy wines.” If you’re into Custom Blending, you can call ahead and book a class. You’ll be greeted with three glasses of Carignone, Zinfandel and Sirah, and you can mix and match till you find one that’s unique as your DNA.
