One of my favourite restaurants in Kelowna is RauDZ (pronounced "rods") and provides locally sourced ingredients for both the dinner plate and the martini glass.
The dinning room is always packed and with a first come first serve policy (reservations only accepted with groups of 10 or more) you'll want to arrive at 5:00 to get a good seat near the kitchen.
Once seated start off with a one of their award winning martini's or a martini with freshly squeezed huckleberries, local organic apples or apricots, when in season. I could spend hours sipping on local wines or a cocktail inspired by Papa Hemingway and watch the chefs seamlessly weave between each other as they create your meal that will be sure to impress.
Once finished take a stroll along the waterfront of Lake Okanagan or head to your next wine sipping spot with a downtown view.
Cocktail classes called "Liquid Sundays" are available - check their website for more information.
