A Plush Downtown Chicago Stay at the Radisson Blu Aqua
With rooms overlooking Millennium Park and a short walk to the shopping areas of State Street and the Magnificent Mile, Radisson Blu Aqua has an ideal location. However, it is a destination in its own right.
With a comfortable yet shimmering lobby, the chic and fun restaurant Felini and a lounge for business travelers or elite members on the 17th floor (with more views of Millennium Park), the Radisson Blu becomes a draw for locals.
The rooms are great. The bed is an ideal retreat after a long day of sightseeing, the TV has all of the cable channels (HBO, Comedy Central, etc) and there's tons of amenities to make a frequent traveler feel right at home (robe, blow dryer, lotions, etc). I had no problems with the wifi in my room and easily worked from my lap top. The business centre has plenty of computers and a printer that I could use for free.
Let's not forget about the service. The service here is exceptional. The staff made sure all of my needs were met and the concierge made sure I was in good hands for navigation. The little touches were great as well: sparkling and regular bottled water in my room; cookies and about three different welcome cards! Ipads are in all rooms for navigation and any requests you need.
The hotel is also a half hour cab ride from Midway Airport.
I couldn't have asked for anything else on my stay. This was worth the splurge!
