Qintian 76 is housed within the perfectly preserved former home of a renowned geology professor who taught at National Taiwan University. The Japanese structure’s recent renovation follows a trend of giving the academic Qintian area's old houses new life. Those who walk into the house’s tree-lined courtyard are transported into a stately, serene environment that makes Qintian 76 a rather intelligent place for an intimate lunch.
Meals are centered around simple, high-quality dishes such as vegetable hot-pot or grilled mackerel. Sit outside with a view of the spacious backyard, or dine inside among artifacts and relics from the professor’s illustrious career.
Reservations recommended. Closed on Mondays.
