I've seen this stream season after season; in the snow, the fall, the blossom of spring, the heat of the sun and in what I call the interstices of temperature when things fall just in between.
I’ve sat next to this stream, seen trees that surround it with leaves, without leaves, watched leaves fall, seen snow drift. I have seen birds visit here a long legged blue heron and little black, white, and grey chirpers. In the fall when no one was around I took a swim and glanced at the large pond near it amazed that it was without single a ripple. Sometimes I sit there to regain a sense of peace. In the heat of the Summer the main pond gets so packed that people retreat to a side-stream like this one. The architecture of this natural place changes through the seasons and each time I visit I have a new experience.
