Volcanic St. Lucia soars into the blue skies above it, with the twin peaks of the Pitons being one of the most recognizable landmarks of this island midway between Martinique and St. Vincent. While there are many flights each week from the United States, there’s still plenty of room to get lost on this relatively large island of 238 square miles with countless hiking trails through lush rainforests, leading to waterfalls and remote beaches.
