Stumbled on by accident, the Piedra Escondida was a happy little surprise. What originally lured us into this cute bungalow was the sandwich board outside the entrance listing the daily specials of lobster and fresh fruit smoothies. In an alcove all to itself the beach was beautiful and authentic Mexico with hammocks and la palapas to provide shade. The waiters bring your beers in a pail full of ice and the margaritas were great. The lunch was the best mexican food we had all vacation where you could taste every fresh ingredient they used in the dish. We didn't stay there but are 8 rooms each with a deck and a hammock facing the beach. This place was so great and would be perfect for a romantic getaway are a relaxing vacation.
