Pension Baroko

A pension one of a kind
This little pension is 50 m away from the castle walls and it exudes charm. The only 6 rooms available are decorated 100% in heavy mahogany furniture, and have in-suite modern bathrooms. They offer a simple but good breakfast. Helena, the owner, will cook eggs and sausage for you apart from the spread of cold cuts on the table. The building itself dates back to 1360 and has all kind of legends. One of them is the legend of an extremely talented blacksmith. He was so good at what he did that he did not dare sell his work. This love he had for it eventually drove him mad and it got him killed. So if you hear a metal noise at night, it's the blacksmith's ghost, working in his shop. We did not hear a thing though, sleeping was wonderfully comfortable at Pension Baroko.
