Despite Tamarindo still being a small surfing town, it does have some good diversity when it comes to dining! Patagonia Argentinian Grill (located right on the corner of the two main roads - you can't miss it) was a delightful surprise for dinner.
You'll see expats, locals and backpackers alike here. A long bar serves up Sangria (which almost everyone in the restaurant seemed to be sipping) and the menu is simple Argentina - Meat, meat and more meat. After a long day surfing or exploring this is a great spot to linger over a long meal and a lively scene.
