In Romania, the Danube forms its longest (134 km) and most spectacular gorges. Located in the Iron Gates Natural Park, the gorges offer plenty of adventure options, including hiking, cave exploration, kayaks and boat rides.
I went for a boat ride twice because the experience was too great not to live it again. Besides the gorges, you can also see the tallest rock sculpture in Europe (55 meters) or an almost 2,000 years old rock inscription on the Serbian shore.
It's a fun experience for all ages.
