Pangea's Sunburn Remedy: Tomatoes, Oxygenated Water, and Freshly Squeezed Juice
I learned a great deal in Mexico: 1) 30 SPF does not cut it. 2) 50 SPF does not cut it. And 3) Aloe vera, cold shower, aloe vera, cold shower. Luckily for me, I also learned the best way to get your mind off of pain is delicious food, and freshly squeezed juice.
Small but personable, this little place is easy to miss but should most certainly be put on your food radar when going down to the beach in Puerto Morelos. Two perfect tables rise on a slight elevation in the restaurant letting you fully feel the ocean breeze and watch the fishing boats go in and out from the dock. The waiters are friendly, the food delicious, and the sweet nectar from mother nature's loom delectable. They even have a bar. Enjoy that Corona at ten in the morning with no shame at all, sir or madame.
The owner is even so kind to advise you on a few homeopathic remedies to cure your sunburn from that catamaran trip you took the day before.
Pangea is located right off of the small town square. If you're walking to the beach, it will be on your left hand side, across from the big restaurant called Pelicano's.
