Most people don't go to Ozone, at the Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong, for the food.
On the 118th floor of the International Commerce Centre, most folks ride the ear-popping elevator to the top for the view. The spectacle of Hong Kong lit up at night, far below us, reminded us of the Matrix.
The restaurant, aside from being expensive (you need to pay for that view after all) is worth a visit. The interior is lavishly decorated and the mood lighting changes colour throughout the night.
Don't expect friendly service from the frosty, but chic, servers. They will however bring you a variety of fabulous cocktails. I was a fan of the spicy 'piccante.'
The tapas is innovative and tasty. We tried the Crispy basil calamari and the Dungeness crab fritters.
It's definitely a 'once in a lifetime' venue you can brag about to all of your friends.

Even the city’s tallest skyscrapers appear to be dots instead from you view them from the Ozone bar, located on the 118th floor of West Kowloon’s Ritz Carlton hotel. A master mixologist will serve up a vesper martini as you peer down on the rest of the city. Similarly, Sevva, popular amongst Hong Kong’s swankier crowd, gives 360-degree views of the city and the harbor from its rooftop bar and lounge.
