The chef/owner of this eatery in Ired spends his summers in Alaska, fishing for salmon that he brings back to Zermatt for the winter. Most of it is smoked, which he makes into toasts, salads, tartare, pastas, and grilled steaks. I like to ski for a bit in the morning and stop here for a quick snack before continuing down the slopes. If you like salmon, it’s fantastic.
