Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park has expansive views that give the sensation that you're on top of the world. The Mittens are two of the most famous formations, resembling mirror images of a left and right mitten; they have served as the backdrop to many old Western films.
Drivers can embark on a 17-mile scenic drive for an up-close look at the park's majestic buttes and mesas. Views from the visitor center's terraces are equally impressive and offer comprehensive views of the otherworldly landscape.
