A Shopping Trip to Nostalgia
The odds are pretty good that you will find absolutely nothing you need at this rustic establishment, whose interior is actually decorated with the remnants of an old barn, though one could make the case for the double hammock that reclines just outside the entrance.
The odds are just as good that you’ll never leave without buying anything. They’ve got an eclectic collection from hand-kilned mugs to arts, crafts, and the occasional piece of serious art that literally screams cottage country, that will immediately transform you to that lakeside resort if you grew up with one and will help you decorate your current one if you are so blessed.
Case in point: a little sign made of twigs says “welcome to my cabin," or a hand-made tree branch love seat.
Then again, maybe there is something you need at this delightful commercial trip down memory lane—the fudge they make on site is a necessity rather than a luxury.
And you're almost guaranteed to leave this establishment feeling better than you entered—even if you're not a shopper.
