DATE NIGHT | SOUTHERN GRUB, AUTHENTIC CURRY SOUTH OF THE LIGHTHOUSE
Ever wonder what is there good to eat down south? Well let me tell you like a rule almost every weekend this spot is fully book, so I strongly suggest a reservation if you intend to indulge on a Weekend night for dinner.
We all made our way and sat around our table for six with a additional chair placed at the head to accommodate one last minute guest.
Come to think of it I am not even sure of your ordering style or if this type of food is your thing, but this food is so good I think just about anyone would love it.
Here wet your beak before I get started...you would need this.
We were in South...no not south of the Port-Of-Spain, light house, South proper. San Fernando to be exact, on #27 Todd Street at Palki Restaurant.
Palki is roughly an 8 year old Authentic Indian restaurant, consistently serving up North and South Indian and Chinese Hakka Cuisine.
I cannot tell you how much a good to great waiter, who is knowledgeable about his/ her menu is. We struck gold with Nicole. She was superb. Her suggestions, her confidence and attentiveness we on point.
We got started without delay, with some pin pointing their finds on the menu and others just describing what they wanted to eat and relying on Nicole to suggest the best fit.
The Must try dishes were not forgotten. We included the Peshawari Naan, Gobi Paratha, Garlic Naan, Spice Chai and the coconut curry we my must haves.
