A Larger-Than-Life Vonnegut and Other Interesting Street Art in Indianapolis
This life-size mural of author Kurt Vonnegut, painted on the side of a brownstone building on Massachusetts Avenue in downtown Indianapolis is my favorite example of the public art movement that has been gaining momentum. As part of the 2012 Super Bowl coming to town, local artists turned out to paint 46 new pieces of public art in neighborhoods throughout town. Many of them are located in easy-to-find locales near downtown.
