The moon was full and illuminated the straw hats upon cow dung huts. We'd spent the day in school with the kids and now they took us from home to home, visiting their parents. The dirt and dung huts were ovenlike and filled with smoke from fires cooking dinner. We went in and out of them and tip toed to see what was out of sight. I lifted up the one in front and then the other jumped up for a piggy back so she wouldn't miss out on the view.
